HOLLYWOOD FILM FESTIVAL
2017 FESTIVAL THEME
HOLLYWOOD: WHERE PUNK KILLED CLASSIC ROCK
As the Hollywood Film Festival prepares for the next 20 years we invite you to join us as we announce our 2017 Artist In Residence while celebrating the impact of "Disruptive Art" on the future of Hollywood.
In that light, the Hollywood Film Festival, Sur le Mur, and the LA Punk Museum are pleased to present our 2017 HFF Gallery Exhibit "Hollywood: Where Punk killed Classic Rock".
This year we are showcasing a dynamic group art exhibit featuring new works by legendary graffiti artist Risk, renowned British artist Lincoln Townley, and L.A.'s very own Robert Vargas will be painting members of the audience live. This all set around an eclectic collection of art, punk memorabilia, and music. As a special treat Palaye Royale will also perform a few songs from their latest album.
This event opens the conversation around this year's Festival about how LA's Punk Revolution of the 80s forever changed the music industry just like just today's innovations in cinematic content production and distribution are forging a new and more inclusive future for the entertainment industry.
This is an invitation only VIP event. Please contact Brad Parks (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information. We look forward to seeing you here in Hollywood.
